On July 26, 2023, three former military officials testified before a House Oversight subcommittee to raise concerns over recorded UAPs. Former F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot Ryan Graves and retired Navy commander David Fravor shared information about their encounters with unidentified flying objects and expressed concerns for the safety of other pilots. The third military official to testify was retired major David Grusch, who alleged that the federal government had been running a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval program in which ‘non-human biologics’ were recovered.
