Save $100: The 41mm Apple Watch Series 9 with GPS is just $299 at Amazon and Walmart as of Feb. 5. This smartwatch is $399 at full price, netting you a 25% discount.
Valentine's Day is just around the corner, and the seasonally appropriate pink Apple Watch knows it.
We've seen this watch hovering around $309 for nearly the past week, but as of Feb. 5, it's finally dipped (just) below $300. If you're okay with the pink colorway, you can grab the 41mm Apple Watch Series 9 with GPS for just $299 at Amazon and Walmart. This isn't this watch's lowest price ever — that honor belongs to the $289 deal it hit in December — but it's still rare for the watch to get this 25% markdown.
The Apple Watch Series 9 had a rocky start to the year. As the result of a patent dispute with a medical tech company, Apple removed the blood oxygen sensor from its watches. This wasn't a new sensor — along with the heart rate monitor it made up some of the core health features of previous watch generations — but it is a knock to this watch's overall fitness capabilities.
Still, for just $299, you will get a host of features that could make this watch well worth its discounted price. There's Double Tap, which was introduced for the Series 9 and allows you to navigate your watch by simply tapping your thumb and forefinger together, instead of actually touching the watch. There's the 2,000-nit display that makes this watch much more readable in the sunlight (which was one of Mashable Senior Editor Stan Schroeder's favorite features of the smartwatch).
At full price, this watch isn't a surefire upgrade for us, but for just $299, it's much easier to make the case. And if you're not too big on fitness features in the first place, it's definitely worth a look — or you can check out the even more basic Apple Watch SE, which is on sale for $189 at the time of writing.
