It's been 13 years since the release of the original Alan Wake, and at long last, we've finally been blessed with a sequel. Thankfully, it was worth the wait, because Alan Wake II is a survival-horror masterpiece. In AWII you won't just be joining the titular tortured writer, Alan Wake, as he attempts to escape The Dark Place — you'll also be thrust into the role of a new character, FBI agent Saga Anderson, as she investigates a murderous cult in the familiar town of Bright Falls. How will their stories intertwine, and how will you fare against the monsters that await you? You'll have to play to find out. Just be ready for lots of jump scares. (Pro tip: Definitely play the first game before you start AWII.)
